Eligibility for Admission :    

i) 10+2 with 50% aggregates marks in Physics & Mathematics & Chemistry or Graduation with PCM or Diploma in Engineering in any relevant branch.

ii) Age should be between 17 to 24 years on 31st July 2012.

Submission of Form:    

Application for admission of AME course should be made in prescribed form which is available with the prospectus which can be obtained from admission office of Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science, Kolkata by paying Rs. 850/- or could be obtained by post by sending a D.D./M.O. of Rs. 850/- IN FAVOUR OF INDIAN INSTITUTE OF AERONAUTICAL SCIENCE, PAYABLE AT K0LKATA. Students, who have obtained application form from institute's website, would submit the filled in application form to Indian Institute of Aeronautical Science, P-254 Michael Nagar ,Jessore Road, Kolkata-700133, along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 850/- paid IN FAVOUR OF INDIAN INSTITUTE OF AERONAUTICAL SCIENCE, PAYABLE AT K0LKATA. A prospectus would be sent to the candidate on receipt of the requisite fees. NO APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT REQUISITE FEES.

A registration number would be allotted to each applicant. Students who have already passed +2 exams with minimum 50 % aggregate marks in Physics & Chemistry & Mathematics would submit their +2 mark sheet. Students appearing +2 examinations in current session 2011-2012, can also apply for admission.

Admission Test:    

Admission into the course is done on the specific date as mentioned in the admission letter. Total fees are to be submitted on the date of admission as per the fee details sent along with admission letter. All original marksheets & certificates to be verified before admission. An attested photo copies of all related document which include 10th marksheet, 10th certificate which shows the date of birth, +2 marksheet, to be submitted at the time of admission. Medical form duly filled in & properly signed by a registered medical practitioner, holding at least a MBBS degree to be submitted in original. Color blind candidates are not eligible for admission.

Any other medical unfitness could be verified by the admission board.
