Course
Details |

IIAS Kolkata imparts training to the students in
the Mechanical Stream & Avionics Stream.
In order to comprehensively
understand
the basic operational concepts, functionality, trouble shorting,
fault isolation & regular
maintenance & monitoring technique of the airframes, engines
& avionics sections of aircraft , the course is
divided into Six Semesters. The first five Semesters comprises
of theory & practical sessions while the
Sixth Semester is thoroughly dedicated for obtaining hands
on experience on the a/c structures, its engines or avionics

Our Achievements: -
Within a short span of time IIAS, Kolkata has been
able to carve out a place for itself by being:-
1) The first Institute in Eastern India to be
approved for imparting ab-initio training in Jet
Engines.
2)
Rated as the best Institute in the country on the
basis of their students performance at the AME
Licence Exams conducted
by DGCA.
3) The leading Institute to conduct ‘Refresher
Courses’ for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, who are
currently serving in domestic, international
airlines and several Aviation Maintenance
Organisations.
4) IIAS Kolkata is the
first institute to participate in the
‘Aviation Exhibition’ organised by The
Aeronautical Society of India, Kolkata Chapter
& Birla Industrial & Technological Museum,
Kolkata consecutively during the year
2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008.
