Our Achievements: -
Within a short span of time IIAS, Kolkata has been
able to carve out a place for itself by being:-
1) The first Institute in Eastern India to be
approved for imparting ab-initio training in Jet
Engines.
2)
IIAS is the first Institute in Eastern India approved by DGCA, MCA, GOVT. OF INDIA for imparting training on avionic stream as per latest CAR.
3)
Rated as the best Institute in the country on the
basis of their students performance at the AME
Licence Exams conducted
by DGCA.
4) The leading Institute to conduct ‘Refresher
Courses’ for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, who are
currently serving in domestic, international
airlines and several Aviation Maintenance
Organisations.
5) IIAS Kolkata is the
first institute to participate in the
‘Aviation Exhibition’ organised by The
Aeronautical Society of India, Kolkata Chapter
& Birla Industrial & Technological Museum,
Kolkata consecutively during the year
2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008.
6) In the last 9 years of glorious service, IIAS has produced
Plenty of alumni who are working in various Indian Civil aviation organization and Foreign Airlines.
